Pilates is a safe way to help you stay strong, flexible and toned throughout pregnancy. Pregnancy Pilates trains your body to be strong, flexible and balanced. It involves a series of movements and positions that help to improve your strength and coordination whilst incorporating deep breathing and relaxation.

Overview

Pregnancy Pilates is a tailored pregnancy classes, especially designed for ‘mums to be’ from around 14 weeks. Classes are dedicated to preparing your body for the big day and beyond, helping with balance, pelvic floor and strength. We will also teach breathing and relaxation techniques which are essential in the preparation for labour and later stages of pregnancy. Pregnancy classes are open to all levels from complete beginners to seasoned participants – we tailor the moves to suit your needs and experience.

Yes. A busylizzy membership is designed especially with you in mind so when you are due to have your baby and unable to attend classes for a month or two, we will freeze your account (simply complete the freeze form with your preferred start/end dates). If you have built up some class credits, these will be available to continue using after you have had your baby in any of the baby or mummy&me fitness sessions.

Choose loose, comfortable clothing that’s light and made of natural fibres. Dress in layers, so you can peel them off and put them on, as you need to. You may warm up while you’re working on postures, but cool down during the relaxation session at the end of the class.  If you have your own mat, feel free to bring it along but we also have them in class.

Yes. Our instructors are the best in the business – level 2 or 3 pre and postnatal qualified and fully insured to ensure you are in safe hands.

If you are pregnant and thinking about starting a new exercise routine, always get consent from your doctor or midwife before coming to class. If you are new to Pilates, we recommend that you wait until you are 14 weeks along before starting class.

Pick’n’Mix4 membership- perfect for mumstobee

Sign up to our Pick’n’Mix4 membership and we will add 4 class credits to your account every month you remain a member. You can use your credits to book into ANY combination of classes on our timetable.

Classes can be booked up to 30 mins before they start and cancelled without penalty 2 hours beforehand using out handy online booking system and App, plus any unused class credits roll over and accumulate throughout the duration of your monthly pick’n’mix4 membership, so you can catch up anytime. Need more classes? Upgrade to our pick’n’mix8 or unlimited membership packages.

No long contracts and no termly intakes

Only a 12 week initial commitment – then just give us 1 month notice to cancel. A busylizzy membership is designed especially with you in mind so when you are due to have your baby and unable to attend classes for a month or two, we will freeze your account (simply complete the freeze form with your preferred start/end dates). You can start your membership anytime that suits you as we don’t do termly intakes and our classes run 50+ weeks a year!

Members can book classes on the day (up to 30 minutes before the start of a class) or up to 4 weeks in advance using our smartphone app! If you can’t make it – no problem – you can cancel and reschedule your classes up until 2 hrs before they start.
